Warli Art..Inspried by RM :-)

So this Saturday I got all inspired by RM to try my hands on Warli. When I say she inspired me it does not mean that my work in any way is comparable to hers 🙂 She is an expertie and we all admire her work .

It was probably about ages that I was holding a brsuh in my hand.I had no idea of kind of paint to be used so I asked the shopkeeper and he asked me to buy Acrylic colour.Though I feel colour dint come out to be bright.RM please help,which colour do we use?

Next task was to pestere hubby to lend me his Tshirt.He really dint want to give it to me but the way I threatened him,he was left with no choice 🙂

I first tried with potato but failed miserably.Thought of saving the other half of the potato to make vegetable instead of wasting it too.See I am so stingy.

Later I sat back and drew few figures with white marker pencil then coated it with white paint.After sometime I got bugged and directly started using the paint.

So here is the final product 🙂

Happiness…

Climate in Bangalore is amazing these days. So today morning I went for a walk and few things that I noticed made me smile. I want to share that with you all.

1.I noticed trees all laden with flowers red/yellow/pink/lavender. It surely made my day. I was at awe at this miracle of nature.

2.I saw kids going to school holding their parents hand. Brought back millions of happy memories from my childhood.

3.I saw senior citizens playing badminton and enjoying the brisk walk. Felt happy to see them so health conscious.

4.An old uncle walking and playing an old Hindi song on his mobile. The content look on his face made me smile. I truly appreciate when people say “We are young men of 70”.Love their spirit.

5.4-5 puppies fighting/playing and jumping on each other. Oh it was so good.

6.Saw aunties enjoying the lovely nature with other women of their age.

7.The sight of fresh vegetables on hand driven cart (not sure of the actual word) made me happy.

8.The clouds moving in random directions.

9.The sun peeping through the clouds.

10.Last a temple where I could thank God for all his wonderful handicrafts which makes our earth look so beautiful.

Amazing game for foursome :-)

Game

Does anyone remember these 4 chits? It is an awesome game played by 4 people. The chits are thrown and all 4 people have to pick one chit each.
Lets say the 4 people are A,B,C,D.
All 4 pick up one chit each. They have to keep it secret that which chit they picked.
Assume:
A picks Raja
B picks Mantri
C picks Sipahi
D picks chor
A says, “mera mantra kaun?” “who is my assistant”
B says, “Mein sarkar” “I Sir”
A says, “chor sipahi ka pata lagao” “Find out who is thief and who is warrior”
At this point B has to guess who between C and D is chor and who is sipahi by doing some sort of face reading but mainly its all guess and luck work.
Let’s say B guesses it wrong .In this case the thief gets 500 points and assistant (mantra) will get 0 points.

Ie.
A =1000
B=0
C=300
D=500
Incase B guesses it correctly then points distribution will be:
A =1000
B=500
C=300
D=0
Play this game couple of times and at the end calculate the points of all 4 people. Who so ever gets highest point is the winner 

Try this game its fun. Especially with summer setting and no scope of going out in heat, this would be the best time pass for the entire family.

Try it and let me know your experience.

Happy playing 
